Can u eat the inside of the palm tree & not get sick?


Question:last night my husband pulled out a palm tree from our front yard..
he wanted to see what was in the middle so he pulls it apart & at the bottom of the leaves there was a ball like thing..it was like a steamed vegetable...he said it had no taste, it was moist, and soft like a steamed veggie.. can that be serious? he hasnt got sick...it happened last night around 1030

I doubt it and it sounds like you had a Sago Palm they are also called Cabbage Palms.


Probably ..I wouldn't recommend it .
