Am I to late to plant sweet basil seeds?

Question:

Answers:
It's worth a try. I have sown Basil seeds up to the end of July before & got a decent plant out of it - just all depends on the weather - it does need lots of sun, heat and not too much water! So in the UK at the moment - sow it inside!

Why don't you plant them in big pots and then just bring them inside when it gets cold.
If you grow them indoors on a warm windowsill you will have no problems at all just keep an eye out for greenfly ect, hope this helps.
the way the weathers changing no its ok i have just sown some tomato seeds because i think it will be summer in november so its christmas tomatos for me
No I planted some yesterday.
No...it is fine.basil is not that fussy
If you are in Britain it may not be too late, as we have had very little sun up to now. It may be worth trying. Good Luck.
no depends on where you live as to how much you will get to harvest.
Not sure where you live (?)
Actually, you can plant basil seeds anytime of the year. Start them in pots and if you live in the North you can just leave them in the pots and harvest them there.
I live in the Northeast and planted some in pots last week.
