How can I mow my yard with a criss-cross pattern like ball fields and golf courses?
Question:I have burmuda grass, and want to mow it like the pros do.

You need to buy a striping kit for your mower. Also you can't blow everything away from the unmowed grass this will not give you stripes. You have to start your pattern, going one way your chute of your mower should be blowing away from the unmowed grass and then going to other way your mower chute should be pointed towards the unmowed grass.
Also having a zero-turn mower helps
It takes time and practice to mow your yard like they do.
cut criss-cross, then get a roller and roll it criss-cross.. that will give you the effect. I'm not sure ballfields use bermuda grass, so It might not look identical, but it will be close.
