I planted 2 elephant ear plants about 2 months ago. One plant hasn't even broken through the soil yet. Help!

Question:The other plant is doing very well. Any suggestions?

Answers:
Don't worry, everything will be alright! Every plant needs a good soil and watering twice every week...But it is not enough! It needs something more...called - LOVE !

You can pull it out of the soil and wait for it to "sprout", then plant it again. Elephant ears take forever and a month to germinate!
it is possible it might not germinate. that one elephant ear is fine growing by itself. it will make tons of babies. Mine became a weed in my flower bed. every year it makes at least 20 babies
