Uh, matter o' fact, I just done some weed whacking not too long ago, and cut some of the leaves of poison ivy, now I have it all over me, and it itches constantly scratching like a dog all the time, so, yes, if you trim your grass you need to be careful and not trime the poison oak or ivy.
If you get it on you in one place, and then touch yourself in another place, it will also be there, IT"S HORRIBLE!
Just don't mess with the stuff, get you some round-up weed killer and your set to go!

Sure does. You can check online to see the pics of what to look out for. Generally, the leaves are jagged and are in 3's.
No Poison Ivy does not grow on the west coast. However Poison Oak does.
