Advice on buying a lawnmower... are front caster wheels good for hills, is snapper worth the money ??

Question:please help. I have 1 acre. the front is too steep for a ride-on, but the back is flat. I am willing to spend $ for a good one.

Answers:
Caster style wheels are good for flat lawns. They would be difficult to keep a straight line across a slope as they would always want to turn and roll downhill.

A good mower is worth the money. Snapper, Toro, etc. I had a 20 year old Toro I just replaced with a new one. Snappers are nice because they have a high vacuum system that sucks up grass and debris.
