my pool :)
It's behind my house, and that is where my garden and my out building is(out of sight). TG
I wish there was something back there to love. My husband has turned my back yard into a motorcycle garage. The front of my house looks like a beautiful cottage, but the back yard is for the dogs. I've probably went in my back yard twice in the past year. I made him put a privacy fence completely around so I don't have to see it and neither does anyone else.
the patio, the flowers, the trees, the garden.

mostly, i think i love the fact that i actually have a backyard.
nothing but in the front I love all the flowers I have gathered from friends and co-workers over the years
playing fetch with the dogs!
I live in the country so my back, front, and side yards are all hay fields and i get to watch deer, turkey, and other animals
I love the mornings, when the weather permits, to go out there with my coffee and newspaper., and just listen to the birds and the peacefulness, you definitely can't buy that anywhere. after doing all my puzzles, its time to head inside and get ready to come out again, for another wonder full treat. watching my grandson in the pool, and attending to my vegetable garden, paradise if only I could bottle it up for the winter, I'd be a millionaire.
My pool.
What I love most about my back yard, is sitting on the deck
with my coffee in the morning, enjoying life in my backyard:
birds singing, flowers blooming, bees buzzing, butterflies
skitting around from flower to flower -thinking about ..nothing.

I enjoy looking out in the backyard each morning to see if
anything new has bloomed. Sounds dull to some people,
but. Taking time to smell the flowers and enjoying life in your
backyard is what makes life ...grand.
My backyard:)
I look our my backyard to the barn where my horses are. One is free to walk around the pasture. I call, him, and he comes over to the gate.

I go over to my gardern and pull up a carrot and offer it to him.
He takes it from my hand and looks at me in a horsey sort of thank you and wanders off to graze.

I tend to my dahlias, tomatos, cucumbers, strawberries, and carrots, pulling weeds and making sure no cucumbers are touching the ground.

After that I check the apricot tree to see if the fruit is ready.

Not yet.

Be patient.

Time and love is all you need.
