Does a curry plant (helichrysum angustifolium) have culinary uses or is it just decorative?

Question:

Answers:
From what I have read (haven't tried it) it is a herb and can be used as such, usually sauteed with other ingredients.

Also the essential oil from this plant is used for muscle relaxation.

Good luck.

Good question!

I wanted to know the same thing... nearly bought one at the weekend.

Very intrigued - hope someone knows :-)
My friends parents are Indian and they have what they call a curry plant. The leaves have a very strong obvious smell of curry. They use the leaves in the curry they make and it tastes awesome. Hope it's the same plant though. Wouldn't want to poison anyone.
We use curry leaves in our curries,we sauteed them with the curry paste that we mix ourselves. It smells lovely ..and give my fish curry that extra zing"
