How long does scotts take?
Question:i bought some scotts patch master sun and shade mix put it like on july 6 i am going to put some more on july 9 or 10 i have a cook out on july 28th will the grass have grown by then??

I finished putting my Scott's patch master on June 13, and by the end of June it was nice thick beautiful grass. I would suggest you follow the instructions exactly, the 2 most important I found were the amount of product used, and water,water, water. Your grass may not be strong enough to withstand constant trampling by that time, so you may want to try and limit its use. Hope this is helpful!!
Horrible time to plant it but it usually takes 14-21 days if you do it right.
It will not be perfect by then, but the patches will not be so noticable on the 28th. Water well.
