Fast growing small tree?

Mountain Ash

A cherry tree will only grow as tall as you let it. I keep mine to about 20 feet by topping it every couple of years. Plus, yearly we get a month of more cherries than we could possibly eat in a year (which makes us a hit with the neighbors:)
You'd have to say where you live for any really useful answer.
Hi: You are living in sandy soil and there are some good trees that will grow. One of the best that will adapt to your location is an Emerald Green Arborvitae. It will grow up to 20 feet and is a fast grower. It grows three to four feet a year. Upright evergreen and great for privacy. Also a Tea Olive, and some Cypress. They are all low maintenance. Take a look at my website for other ideas on planting trees. There is a section on how to plant trees and water them. Good luck and if I can be of any other help, let me know.
You need A NON bearing mulberry.Do not get one that bears fruit..WHAT A MESS..they will grow quickly and quite inexpensive..look at the "ornamental mulberry" section on this link...
arizona ash water and fert once a year.
