Garden pests?
Question:My neighbours daughter asked me a question I cannot answer so thought would pose the question here....do snails have their shells when they are born?

I have seen baby snails with soft shells so i am guessing that they have them but get hard as they get older..
yes they do,but very soft.
no they save up and take out a morgage.haaha i have seen tiny little snails with shells so they must have them from birth

Just like a chicken egg, soft when laid but hardens up practically straight away.

Yes they do, from the moment they're born they're a mirror image of their parents, if you watch snails the first thing they do when they meet is kiss, now for my garden pest, it's my next door neighbour he keeps reminding me his gardens better than mine.

Yes they do the little blighters are born with armour the minute they come into the world and have a terrible habit of eating all my wonderful plants!! Its nice to see that the younger generation is taking a interest in the big wide world of gardening xx xx
