Alimb from a tree that has its base on my neighbors property fellinto my yard. It was hanging over my yard?
Question:before it fell. Who pays for the cost of clean up? I live in Ct.

It's your neighbors tree, but if he won't clean it up and you can't your homeowners insurance should cover the cost.
Normally, if it falls into your yard, it's your responsibility. That said, if your neighbor is a decent person, he might help.
check your local laws, usually the limb belongs to the person whose land it grows over, i thonk you will find out that you had the right to trim off any limb that hung over your property, good luck.
