Can I use a post and pre emergent herbicide at the same time in my lawn?

Question:There're very few weeds in the center of my lawn, but i have clovers and other weeds to the sides.I'd like to keep weeds from germinating and treat the existing ones.

Answers:
Yes, you can! I would use the "post" first and then the "pre". You could do it in the same day or, better yet, wait a week in between!!

Good Luck!!

Definitely do some research on this before applying. In most cases you can mix herbicides as long as you apply both at labeled rate, and have no problems. There are some combinations that when combined, can damage your grass.
Try this website, they have a lot of information about controlling weeds in lawn. It's from the University of California, Davis and is peer-reviewed.
