Houseplant are good for your health but are they healthy to have in the bedroom.?
Question:I have heard they give out harmful stuff at night
Answers:
No that is not true. Plants use carbon dioxide for fuel and give of oxygen. The only way it would be a problem is if you or someone else in the bedroom had an allergy to the plant or plants in question. Otherwise enjoy your plants and the extra oxygen is good for your. Good luck and take care.
It's not that, it's because they creat dust that you shouldn't have them in the bedroom. So you don't have an allergy attack in your sleep, you shouldn't have plants in the bedroom, not even plastic ones.
They take in carbon dioxide during the day and give off oxygen
At night they use oxygen and give off carbon dioxide, so I've been told.
Carbon dioxide is about 4/5ths of the air we breath all the time.
yes. the give out carbon dioxide out at night and give out oxygen during the day so it balances out. they are not harmfull
sounds like a bunch of horse-hockey to me. plants give off oxygen, nothing harmful in that.
Bedroom is not healthy for my plants as I forget they are there then they die cos I forget to water them. Plastic or silky best!
Here we go again..All of those animals in the forest do not seem to have any problem breathing at night. They are surrounded by plants.
Can't we find anything less mundane to worry about? How about formaldehyde off gassing of modern building materials. Now that's an air quality problem that is not imaginary.
If you have allergies you shouldn't have plants in your bedroom. Especially if you are allergic to mold. If not then they are ok to have in the bedroom.
it's safe to keep plants in your bedroom
