Need to know what will kill vines or cause it to never grow back..?

Question:we have had problems with vines and sticker bushes along our fence line. today we cleared it all out of the way, cut it all back. is there any product out there that will assure no future growth? the area is1acre along the fence. help!

Answers:
If you want a product that won't have the EPA breathing down your throat, I would use Ortho Ground Clear. It kills the ground for upto one year; that should get rid of you're vines. But as with any root killer be careful not to get it on any desirable plants, or runoff. The stuff works great when you want to actually kill the plants, a little too great when it kills the plants you want to keep.

Two things. Diesel oil poured into roots etc will kill off most growth.Or a weedkiller known as Woody Weedkiller. It's good because it will go right through to the roots.
if round-up doesn't work try brushkill
SALTWATER will kill anything and keep it from coming back - but it lasts for about 20 years if done properly.

DON'T RISK USING POISONS
IF LIVESTOCK IS INVOLVED..
Harsh language won't cut it but it wouldn't hurt. Let the vines grow back a little till they have a few leafs on them. Then soak some newspaper in a solution of Roundup, cooking oil, and water. Wrap the paper around the vines and cover it with a plastic bag. use a twist tie to close it up. Let it be for a week or so. Check it. If the leaves aren't compeltely withered yet reapply the solution and repeat procedure.Same with the sticker bushes. This is a little labor intensive,---but it does work.
i was going to say Brush-B-Gone, which i use on poison oak.
Hmmmm,
Woody Weedkiller.
brushkill.
Ortho Ground Clear.

i wonder which works best?
use crossbow and you won't have any more trouble
