How do you dry Calla Lilies?

Question:I came back from a wedding, and would like to preserve the flowers. They are Calla Lilies. How do I dry them so they will last? These are cuts, meaning I never plan to grow them.

Answers:
The best material available is oolitic sand, a material found along the Great Salt Lake in Utah. It is is heavy, which puts steady pressure on the flower while it’s drying; it is smooth therefore, it doesn’t injure the flower; it is hollow, which enhances its ability to absorb water; and it has a relative high pH, which helps to preserve the flowers color. It is available at aquatic stores that specialize in salt water aquariums.

i dunno
best way is to hang them upside down. but i'm not sure how they preserve... meaning they might shrivel, discolor, and not dry well.
you might have better luck replacing them with silk flowers
I would think the best way would be to press them between some heavy books.Just put flowers inside the cover or pages of a book, and put a few heavy volumes on top. After a few weeks, get a cheap picture frame.Put a nice contrasting card at back, and blue tack lilies to card. With a glass front the lilies will last, and you'll have a nice reminder of the wedding.
