How do I promote the growth of algae on my pots with yogurt?

Question:

Answers:
I always use powdered milk but I guess yogurt is fat free. I do this to get moss to grow but I guess it would work on algae. I put a hand full of moss, the stuff with the little spore stalks in bloom is best, and a handful of powdered milk in a blender and mix with enough water to make a gruel the consistency of paint. Spread it or pour it on wood, rocks, pots or anything you desire. Keep it moist and out of the sun and in a couple weeks you should see it take off. RScott

While the yogurt is wet, rub some dirt onto it. Also, use only unflavored yogurt. Leave the item in the shade.
