Does anyone think 40 mph winds could hurt my plant?

Question:i have a small hibiscus plant. its not a tree. it looks more like a bush. today is supposed to be around 90 and i know they like the hot temps. so i have it outside right now to catch the sun and the warm air. but its supposed to be pretty windy. gusts up to 40 mph at times. my mom thinks its fine out there. does anyone think that the strong winds might hurt my plant. i love this plant and really want to keep it alive. the last one i had died because it was planted in the ground outside and i guess it got too cold. here's a picture if anyone needs to see it.

I would think if there is come wind protection it would be better for the plant. Kinda of like getting neck whipped latch with 40 mph winds. Since the plant is so small better just to take it in for the day. Sun it tomorrow.

I love plants and yes it could definitely hurt it!
Very pretty, you can take it inside if your worried about it. It is a very nice plant and I know you want to keep from getting ruined.

Thanks for sharing your beautiful plant with us.
If it were me id make small wind break for it and give it some water.. Because big wind will dry it out fast.....
Mine are sitting out in the sun and wind, currently gusting to 42 miles per hour. Just water it tonight as the wind and heat will dry it out.
