Sweet Peas are a vining plant. You need to put up a trellis, strings or wire for it to twine around. They need something to grab onto. They won't grab onto a fence. They can grow 5 feet tall.

There are also some "bush" varieties, but they don't get as tall.

They are VERY fragrant and colorful. There are "Early", "Spring" and "Summer" blooming varieties.
