Whats is the easiest way to clean off the vines growing on my fence?

Question:vines and weeds are growing all on my fence, what is the best way or tool for getting it all off, i would think a weed eater but i was told that it wouldnt be strong enough for the job.

Answers:
If they're thick, just cut the base of the vines. When they die in a week or two, pull them off. They won't have the grip since they'll be dried out and crumbly.
