Can cherries go bad if..?

Question:we have a cherries tree and its june and it rained then got sunny again will it go bad? In how long?

Answers:
It's doubtful the weather will bother them. Plants and fruits and flowers are all quite accustomed to varying weather. Keep an eye on them so they don't go past ripe though.

they will be fine
It really depends on how close the cherries were to being ripe, how long they were wet and how warm the temperature was when they were drying. If they were real close to ripening, they may split and, possibly, go bad. Keep an eye on the cherries; they may be fine; if you see signs of splitting, pick as soon as possible
