Deck Railing?
Question:Is there a common height for deck railing?
Answers:
Call your city/county building inspector. there the one who will pass/fail it anyway.
I don't know if there is a certain standard height but if i was building one i would build it according to the your own height i would have the railing at waist level whatever that is for you

36-42 inches. 4 inches between each rail.
There probably is but belly button high to a six foot man will work fine. About 3 1/2 feet.
