I have a kentucky bluegrass lawn (midnight) and I am having problems with it?

Question:growing to two inches and then dying on me. Now I have fescue and bemuda and zoysia and all kinds of other crap coming up. Anyone know of a bluegrass keeper only everything else killer? Desperate need to get lawn done for anniv. party in aug!!

There's both a 'lawn' and 'lawncare' forum and there are some unquestionably expert lawn people there. I've learned a lot. There's lots of discussions about getting rid of bermuda grass, too! ;)

Bluegrass is a shade grass, and very intolerant of heat and traffic. Bermuda has gotten a bum rap, but, it is the grass to covet. Handles full sun, will make a carpet if you don't cut it so short and is easy to grow. It has a deep grass green color
