What kind of bugs are these?

Question:I recently had a robin's nest on a windowed air-conditioner outside my daughters window. Recently we had millions of these very small bugs coming into our house through cracks in the window. I tried to wash the nest down with a hose and found that a baby robin had died, it was being eaten by these very small bugs. Some were light gray others were darker. They seem to be attracted to lighter colors for small reason ( they were on white parts of my daughters kitchen but stay away from the dark green areas of it, also were on light pink items). What are these things?

The bugs are called Bird Mites. Start spaying everywhere so they don't get into your home. When they bite you the itch lasts for days. I have had that happen to me and my family. The itching drives you mad. I rather be stung by a Mosquito than be bitten by a Bird Mite.
