I have a fern here in Arkansas. It is dying. Is it possible to revive it and how?

Question:I have watered it every day. It is in shade for about half the day. It has been hot and the humidity has been bad. Dont want to start buying more ferns until I can solve this problem. Thanks...

Answers:
if it gets the afternoon sun it is to much. morning sun is fine, but ferns do not do well in the really hot afternoon sun.
there is a slight chance you have over watered - though it is slight. pick the pot up. if it feels heavy then the plant doesn't need water. if it feels light, then it does. if after you water it still feels light then the water is running through. you Will need to saok the pot in water for a few hrs.
hope this helps.

idk
Ferns like shade. I think that this one is getting too much sun. Move it and don't worry about over watering.
