There is a thing called muriatic acid that works well on cement and patio bricks to clean them-- This is really some strong stuff --so if you use it wear gloves and eye goggles--It will take off the top layer of cement and dirt really quick--so have hose ready to wash off as soon as you have the results you want. i use this to clean my patio--but warn you it is acid so you must follow the directions explicitly. Brick is cleaned with this so i think it might work on lime stone-- doubt that you will be able to keep the grass between the lime stones.. You might also try a strong pressure washer to see if that will clean it -This might keep your grass.
The best thing that works around the my father in law's garden (who is and englishman and has a very english garden) is pressure washer - tried on crazy paving, sandstone flags, brick walks, even on cedar planks. And is fun to work with, too. Most garden centres should be able to offer hire by day, at least in the UK they do...
Have fun!
