Has anyone ever heard of a tomato potato plant?


Question:we planted one this that was givin to us and wondered i dry out the seeds and plant them will they come back the same next year not sure if this works with hybrid cross breed plants? thanks!

Yeah, I've heard of it. Don't think they grow from seed though. Both are solanacea. It might be a graft.


Yes, I've heard of them. They were pretty hot several years ago, but I've never tried them. I'm an experienced vegetable gardener and have always understood that the seeds of hybrids cannot be propagated. However, I am also an experimenter, and when someone says that it can't be done, I'll try it just for the hell of it. Give it a shot!
