Gardeners Nr. Huddersfield? Would you like a challenge?

Question:I'm being really cheeky I know, but here goes, you only know if you ask! I've got a really overgrown garden! I sooo want a nice garden but don't know where to start. Could you come and help me? I've no idea where to start but I can't afford to pay anyone, it could become your project and I could be very easily persuaded to throw in a free meal or two. I've got the cheek of the devil I know, but I just don't know where to start and I would so love a nice garden. No rude answers please, I just thought it would be worth a try in case there was someone bored out there in Huddersfield land that would like a challenge.

Answers:
get a strimmer. strim it really short. cover the beds with thick black plastic weighted down with bricks for a year. This will kill all the weeds and leave you with clean soil to hoe and plant into.

You start by cutting things back, then you can see what is under there
