Is there a type of flower that smells like cigarettes?
Question:cuz for the past few days my parents kept coming into my room and smelled cigarette smoke and they thought i was smoking so i tried to find the source and finally i found out it was the flowers in my room!! theyre pink/orangish.do u know what type it is?

Wish you had a picture. Its hard to identify it with only that description. Maybe alstromeria but I didnt think those smelt like cigarettes. Hmmmm long petals, pinkish-orangish..need a little bit more info if you can. How many petals, what color is the center, or does it have an obvious center. is it a single flower or multilple flowers on one stem. Any spots on the petals or two-tone effects? Oh and yes in response to anyother poster, there is a plant called nicotiana, which is the tabacco plant, but from what I understand its a pleasant sweet smell, and not something thats usually used in flower arrangements.
