The best way to keep deer out of your garden?

Question:

Answers:
The best stuff is homemade, not the $30 or so product available at stores. The base of the recipe which can be found on internet is eggs with I think sour cream. You mix these ingrediants and kinda let them rot/ferment.then apply perimeter or on or near plants being eaten....deer like roses especially.
works like a charm.

There is some stuff, I forget the name, that you can get at Home Depot or other supply store. It comes in a spray, pellets, etc. It is a repellant.
sprinkle around Cayenne pepper or chili pepper.
Cocoa bean mulch - I have been using since we built our home 7 years it seems to work I have no problem with them in my gardens (I have 5)
People will suggest all sorts of remedies. I've found the best way is to fence your garden . Chicken wire is inexpensive and works quite well. You can get it at most lumber stores or places like Rural King. Build a 6' fence using stakes ,cheap ones, and fix a make-shift gate to get in and out and there you have it.
Good luck. They are fearless and aggressive. I don't think anything you do short of twelve foot razor wire fence will work.
