Where can I find the best garlic for planting?

Question:I don't want to rely on an internet search. I'm looking for folks who have planted garlic and have been happy with the results. Prefer stronger/more flavorful plants.

Answers:
find someone in your neighborhood who grows it and ask for a few bulbs for planting...store bought garlic has been treated so it may not do as well...

I buy it from my grocer, separate the bulb and plant them. They do well and produce nice flavored garlic
Your success in growing garlic may depend on your growing season, i.e., what planting zone you live in. You may have to do an internet search with "[my state] growing garlic" for specific instructions. For some very general information on growing garlic, see http://www.creativehomemaking.com/garden...
