How much should I pay?
Question:I will be away for 5 days and the neighborhood sixteen year old will be watering my outside plants with the garden hose while I am gone. I have 20 plants . I am thinking of giving her $40 ($8/day) and bringing back a little something for her. Is this too much? Too little? What do you think?

I think that sounds great ... especially if you bring something back. 20 plants is a lot, but it's pretty easy to turn on a hose. Have fun on vacation!

sounds like you are being very generous..i would hold the gift till you see your plants are still alive..
sound's good .tell her if she does a good job you might give her a little more on your return. if you come back and your plant's are dead it might cost you more than 40$ to replace them.
