Can i use coffee grounds fresh to help my plants grow?

Question:

Answers:
Coffee grounds have some nutrient value, but it's not huge. the biggest thing is pH buffering- the grounds are acidic and this in turn helps make the soil slightly more acid.. good in many cases, bad in some others. it just depends on the soil.

If you are dumping un-brewed coffee ground on your plants, don't bother.. buy fertilizer instead.

You brew your pot of coffee and when finished, you take the used coffee grounds and mix them in soil. You can also wait til they're dried. bettyk
