List of deer resistant plants?

Steve, through trial and error, I have found some plants that the deer are less inclined to eat. However, they are few and far between. If you do not want to use barriers, such as mesh, or some type of wiring(chicken wire)which I personally find very unattractive, may I suggest "Liquid Fence". It is by far the best product on the market. Liquid Fence has literally saved my gardens. It comes in two different variations. One is ready to use, one gallon spray container, approximately $25.00. The other is sold in the concentrate form, for about $35.00. The concentrate makes 4 gallons, and is the best buy for your dollar. I have had gallons last for several seasons. It is easy to apply, just spray on and around your plants, shrubs, and anything that the deer can get to. It does not harm your plants or pets, and is safe for children. I have tried EVERY home remedy, and EVERY deterrent product out there, and it is the BEST! The money you spend to buy the product, will save you from having to replace all the plants, flowers, etc. that the deer devour. Let alone the time and effort put into your landscaping. Good Luck, and Happy Gardening!
Hello
In my opinion there truly are no deer resistant plants anymore. Daffodils produce an enzyme in the juices that is supposed to be toxic to the deer, although I have personally watched deer eat daffodils down to nothing. Holly, also deer resistant I have had reports of the deer consuming them down to nothing but bare stalks. There are "deer resistant" plant lists out there but I reccomend not taking them to heart.

check with your local county extension agent who works with agricultural schools in your area. Most are listed with Gov't pages of phone book.
There is nothing that deer will not eat if they are hungry enough in the late winter and early spring.
