How to cure a dried up plant?

Question:what should i do to cure it. i already have it in water with ice. thank for your time

Answers:
If its too dried out it just might be dead, so nothing you can do will save it..
If it does have some life in it.. leave roots in water till you see new growth.. and re-plant

I suppose it depends on how much it dried up.. there may be no "cure"

more details would be helpful.
It may be dead and unrecoverable. What kind of plant is it? Some are better at making comebacks than others.
Don't use ice. When trying to revive a plant, luke warm water works best.
