What are good trees for the desert ?

Question:I need to buy allot of trees for the back yard , so I need cheap trees that grow very fast and take little care , we live in the desert so they have to be able to handle the hot weather.. also I want evergreen trees can you please help?

Answers:
Desert Willow. They are not too expensive. I can find them here in Texas for under $15 in 2 gallon pots. They require some watering the first year or so.but after that can tolerate dry conditions. They don't provide much shade, but are pretty. The blossoms are fabulous looking and attract hummingbirds as well.

um i'm going to go out on a limb here and say cactus?
