You want to get some fertilizer that is higher in phosphorus (P) and potassium (K). A good organic source of phosphorus is bone meal and wood ashes or granite dust are good sources of potassium. You can look for an organic fertilizer at your garden center that has low N and higher P & K values.
Adding compost to the soil when planting your tomatoes will help. You can also make some compost tea and water the plants with it or spray the leaves for foliar feeding.

You need a fertilizer with a high middle number like 0-52-0. It is phosphorus that helps them bloom and is great for any thing that flowers. July is the month to put it on shrubs like lilac, rhodies and other flowering shrubs. I use Vigoro Blossom Booster on my tomato plants and have never seen so many tomatoes. Use it on your flowers as well. Good luck, gardening is a lot of fun.
Phospherous is what you need when tomatoes get to the 'blooming stage"..Do not use no more high nitrogen fertilizer..Nitrogen works on the "greenery, foilage" part of the plant.. and phospherous on the blooming/fruit part...Heres pictures of my veggie garden...
To make fruit the plants need potassiium. More leaves mean that the ground has too much nitrogen.
