We have random yellowish and brownish spots all?

Question:over our yard. Not in specific areas, random. We really doubt its from a animal as all the local neighbors pets are not running freely. Any ideas what these spots are? I can always send someone a picture also.

Answers:
You know, you could have an infestation of grubs. They will kill the grass or whatever other plants they "nest" under, because they destroy the root system.

I took this paragraph...
The grubs of all species feed on the roots of many plants, but prefer the fibrous roots of turfgrasses. As the root system is destroyed, sections of turf wilt, turn brown and can be easily pulled back to reveal grubs beneath (Figure 6). Secondary damage is also caused by skunks searching for grubs as food. Damage is most severe in the fall and the spring when the grubs are increasing in size rapidly and feeding near the surface.

If its not dog wee then it could be lawn grubs,we can always tell when we have them as my dogs start digging holes to get to them. The best thing for lawn grubs is laundry room Lux Flakes sprinkle over lawn and water as normal, the lawn loves it and the grubs hate it,big plus environmental safe.
