Take plastic containers that will hold the amt. you will need for a meal, fill with squash and add water, leave a bit of a gap and freeze, good to add a little pinch of salt.
Slice or dice your squash, do not pre cook.


Put it in a plastic container, with a lid. Then just freeze it until you want it!
Shred it, put it in freezer bags and use it within 3 months.
Blanch and put in freezer. Try blanching it in tomato sauce; it might work better than just plain squash.
