Info on taking care of my king coleous plant?

Question:how much do i water it and how much sun. It is a shade plant but i was wondering i i needed to give it sun. It sits on my fire place right now, should i put it somewhere else?

Answers:
Coleus plants are generally very forgiving. Unless the plant has a lot of green in its leaves, give it only partial sun, at most. Keep the soil evenly moist, but not wet. Fertilize it with an all-purpose fertilizer according to the package directions. Be sure to remove any flower spikes immediately, so that growth will continue, and pinch back the tips of the stems to encourage branching and fullness.
