Question:
Answers:
No. I pay $30 for cut, weed eat, edging, and blowing. Also gas is higher now than usual.
how big are your yards? does it include trimming no you got off cheap
Depends on the size of the yard. Some yards are enormous and others are very small. If it is a small yard, yeah a little high, and if it is 5 acres than not enough! But for a good medium sized yard, its a good price.
It depends on the size of the yard. I have what is known as an "estate lot"; a hug corner lot with total property size being almost an acre. I pay $35.00 to have it mowed, weed-eated and edged. I have had other estimates up to $60.00.
I don't believe so, especially if you have decent sized yards. If you have a tiny plot - say postage stamp sized yard no. But in every-day suburbia, I think that is quite cheap. My boyfriend used to charge $25 for just the front yard - including trimming.
$30 is very good for around where I live for a medium yard.
It depends not only on the size of the yard but on where the mowing is to be done.
Near the coast in CA I pay $20 to have my 10' x 40' front lawn mowed and edged. Further inland in CA my sister pays $80/month to have her yard mowed, edged and weeded twice a month. 6500 square foot lot. My neighbor pays $100/month to have the same done once a week. About the same sized lot.
So, no. I wouldn't be shocked to pay $30 for the front and back yard, but would expect a discount if I hired you repeatedly.
Back in my day it was $2 a yard for regular yards. A big yard was $5. Damn Kids nowadays!!
