Are there any vegtables i can plant in my garden now (the end of july)?

Question:No tomatoes!!!

Answers:
beans will always take a short time to grow and peas or snap peas, or radishes or any knd of lettuce or kale

Depending on what zone you are in. A good item to plant now for early fall harvest would be beans.
Something fast growing would work like lettuce.
Yeah so where do you live on the planet, Montana, or Texas, New York or Florida, Northern California or Mexico. Are you in North America or South America or on some other continent?
Where you live determines the answer to your question.
I live in N. California on the coast where the seasons are mild. Now is a great time to think about the fall and winter garden. My winter garden beats out my summer garden. My tomatoes are just starting to ripen, as are my beans, but I'm already looking ahead to the coming seasons.
The cruciferous vegies are great choices here--broccoli, kale, cauliflower, brussel sprouts.
Chard, mustard greens also work well.
Letuce can be grown all year around.
I can still plant zucchini, and have some starts I'm just about to put into the ground for fall harvest.
Yes, lucky me, I live in a gardener's paradise.
