Arundo donax, "false bamboo," Giant reed grass.?

Question:Comments or suggestions for planting and containment in an area that reaches 90 to 100 plus in the summer and reaches 10 or below sometimes in the winter. I have a couple of healthy plants that I just bought and after doing the research after the fact, I'm not sure what to do with them.
