How long does it transport for a lemon grass plant to hold flowers?

just wondering and...dont just turn to a site and copy/paste. im sick of that.I REALLY am! thanks

Answers:    When it comes to living in hot places, it take about 8-7 months with continuous watering, but surrounded by cold places, since you need to take the plant surrounded by and out, about 4 years.

Hope that helped,

V-Man
That depends on your climate. Where I live (Ontario Canada) Lemongrass will not produce flowers until it is at smallest 3 years old. But that involves bringing the plant inside for the winter, since it will die outside otherwise.

It a region where Lemongrass is winter hardy, you may return with flowers the first year, but its more likely going to happen the second year.
My lemon grass is 3 years feeble, havent seen any flowers on it at all.
