Catnip plant is "fading" - how to save it?

Question:I moved my catnip plant (fairly large plant) from the windowsill to the west side of the house in a large container. It has stayed watered, it got a little too much moisture last week, but now the leads are fading to yellow. It put a flower on, which I snipped off today, but I'd like to keep this plant around. Do I need to move it from the west side of my house to another location? Do I need to fertilize it?

Answers:
Put it outside for a few days in filtered light. Remove your yellowed leaves and let them dry--you can still use the dried leaves if you have a kitty. Actually, those are what is generally used. Then you can bring it back in the house. Also water from the bottom, when the soil is damp on top remove the saucer. That's how I water my catnip; snipping pieces away doesn't harm it--actually, it causes it to be bushier. Good luck with your plant.
