Garden pond aeration?
Question:my small garden pond needs some sort of aereation system to stop the water stagnating,there is no access to electricity.where can i buy a windmill aereator,or other non mains electric system,any help appreciated.

You could get one of them solar-powered fountains. The action of the water falling woudl aerate the water.
Buy some oxygenating plants from your local garden centre
Dont bother with the solar powered fountain they are pants, try the oxygenating plants, failing that get eleccy down there and either get an air pump or put a water fall or fountain put in.

They do sell small solar fountain pumps and I would also buy underwater pond plants. Be warned that pond plants may die if the pond is new and also not all types of plants will survive in every pond so test with different plants and see what grows best.
