How to really get rid of Bed Bug.?

Question:In my basement I have two beds. One I just bought it. Are they spreading ? How do I stop their development and growth?

Answers:
You can't get rid of bed bugs if they are really bed bugs that you are talking about. Bed bugs are very tiny and live deep inside your mattress. The only way to get rid of them is to get rid of the mattress and your pillows. Just washing your bedding in detergent will suffice. Everyone and every mattress gets bed bugs but most people don't notice them because they get new mattresses. Bed bugs eat our dead skin and are actually a beneficial bug. The older the mattress the greater the infestation which means that if you can see them then it's time to get a new mattress. A good rule of thumb is to get a new mattress every 10 years and a new pillow yearly.

keep everything clean
Douse your bed in LYSOL. Take your sheets and wash them in bleach (be careful with bleach though if they are colored!!). But defiantly buy a can of Lysol and just spray, spray, spray. Let it airdry. If that doesn't help then it's time to get new beds. And yes - they do spread. So I would wash both set of sheets (or get new ones depending on if you have the $$$) and LYSOL BOTH BEDS (front, back, sides). Don't worry about using too much because you can't really. I'd buy 2 cans and use one on each bed. It would help if they could air dry outside too but not neccessary. Good luck!!
oh crap buggssss... i guess u ought to sun it. get a pest buster. disinfect your whole basement. these bed bugs can live up to 3 months withough food and they spread real fast.
You could buy Thyme oil spray. It is a very stronge oil. My grandma uses it whenever she stays at a hotel on her bussiness trips. I don't know if there are any retail stores that sell it. But you could e-mail oil_lady@wisperhome.com. I'm sure she will help you.
First I would recommend you vacuum the mattresses. Then spray your bed with alcohol. Just buy 70% alcohol and place it in a little clear plastic spray bottle and spray your whole bed. Wash your sheets and pillows in hot water with bleach. You might have to do this whole routine a couple of times before the infestation actually stops.
Good luck!
PS: Don't use harmful pest control chemicals in your mattress!
They now sell covers for mattresses that go over the whole mattress and zip closed. They don't allow the bed bugs or dust mites to get out. Vacuum your mattress [both sides] and enclose in cover. They make these covers for pillows and box springs, too. Bed bug infestations are on the rise. Don't panic, but you will have to be tenacious. Wash the covers periodically and vacuum the beds. Good luck.
