Plans / Blueprints For Garden Workshop?

Question:Ok, so we wanna build a workshop in the bottom of the garden, it needs to be watertight, 12ft x 10ft and 7ft4 high.
It Can NOT have any windows, needs a door on the 12ft side, probably in the middle, but not too fussed.
Do Not want a prebuilt thing, thats why i want some plans, for FREEEEEEEEEEE!

Answers:
A competent builder would not need plans to do something as straightforward as this. The only thing is whether you need planning permission or not which of course would need plans drawing up. When you say a workshop, I would advise you that if it is to be used for commercial purposes it would definitely need planning consent. There are also other factors, i.e. siting in relation to nearby roads and whether your property has had its permitted development rights removed. And why no windows? Check it out carefully before you start.

You only need plans for this if you have to have planning permission.
Otherwise get a builder in and tell him the dimensions and he will do it for you.
As regard to plans, using a 1:100 scale (1 cm for 1m) draw a rectangle write the measurements on it, and draw a door in the middle. It is as easy as that.
The planning dept will want OS maps though, and also a scale plan of your land and the exact location of your workhop. A little time and patience and you can do this yourself.
