Question:I thought i'd try & be helpful & cut the grass!! (Never done it b4!) Its a flymo petrol mower & i pushed the button thing 3 times as sticker on mower says & then tried pulling the cord a few times...nothing happened whatsoever. I left it a while while i checked the dinner & then tried again.this time i just tried pulling the cord, but it wont budge..its like its locked itself or something! Have I messed it up?!?!

Answers:
No it will be ok, mine as done the same thing before.

Siezed! not really it will free with a jiggle
All that is wrong is that the piston is near top dead center, just get someone strong to give it a pull to get things moving.
I have a petrol mower and if the fuel is low it won't start. (even though it doesn't look too low).Try checking the fuel level in yours. Also on mine you have to hold the brake on the handle in or it won't start.
sometimes if the mower has not been used for a long time
like over the winter the petrol seperates and will not fire when started. If this is the case get a can of new petrol and refill the tank.if it has locked up,try pushing the machine backwards and forwards afew times to free it.
