Pond cleaning problems?

Question:my pond is now solely pumping around dirty water. i cannot find a local pond cleaning company, and regularly clean the pumps and the filters. short of emptying the whole pond out and cleaning it all completely, a relatively hassle free solution would be greatly appreciated.

Answers:
Ponds can be hard work sometimes. I just recently cleaned my filter out and a couple days later I still had a somewhat dirty pond. In the heat of the summer, alge can thrive. There are additives you can add to your pond, some may be in powder form or tablet form or even in liquid form that can kill the alge but not the plants or fish in your pond. These additives can help clear up your pond and make it look really nice, but you may have to add more every once and a while. Just make sure if it is harmful to fish or plants you may have in your pond.

Sometimes it just pays to make the investment, which is what I did.
